We are thrilled to invite you to join us in celebrating a momentous occasion - the 26th anniversary of the Baskin School of Engineering (BSOE) at the University of California, Santa Cruz! Baskin Day, an annual event dedicated to recognizing the incredible achievements and vibrant community within our school, is just around the corner, and this year's celebration promises to be truly special.

Since its founding in 1997, BSOE has been at the forefront of innovation, tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges. From pioneering the UCSC Genome Browser in 2000 to establishing the Center for Research in Open Source Software (CROSS) in 2015, our faculty and students have exhibited unwavering dedication, curiosity, and commitment to advancing technology for the betterment of society.
