The end of the quarter can be an overwhelming time of the school year for students, bringing extra work, projects, finals—and stress. Giving themselves a break to recharge and bringing some joy into their days is a great way for students to alleviate those feelings.
Take Pause for Paws.
This program—run through the Student Volunteer Center and in partnership with local volunteers—brings certified therapy dogs to campus. Studies show that interacting with dogs can reduce stress levels. Pause for Paws gives students a chance to hug, pet, groom, snuggle, and get sloppy kisses from canine friends.
Your gift to Pause for Paws will help ensure that the therapy dogs can visit campus each quarter. While it appears to be a light-hearted program, Pause for Paws plays a significant role in the mental health and well-being of our Banana Slugs. Keeping this program vibrant is of vital importance!
You can maximize your impact! A generous alumni and current parent has provided a $5,000 match that will double all gifts for the duration of this campaign.
Give now to this tail-wagging good time!
