The Senior Legacy Fund is the only student-initiated, student-supported, and student-distributed fund at UC Santa Cruz. Each year, seniors raise money to pass on to the next year’s senior class council, who then have the responsibility of determining how those funds should be used. Traditionally, the funds are used to award scholarships to students who represent the four tenets of S.L.U.G. life (Spirit, Legacy, Unity, and Giving). This year, we as the Class of 2014 Council, decided to award two scholarships worth $2,500 each to students of junior standing who embody the S.L.U.G life.
We have set a goal to raise $10,000 for the Senior Legacy Fund, to pass on to the Class of 2015 Council. Join us in funding our legacy. In honor of our graduating year, make a gift of $20 or more. Keep the tradition of senior legacy giving strong! Take charge, give today!
