Hello again!
We are excited to announce that our Carbon fund grant was approved, which will provide $1,250 in additional funds for our Solar Picnic Table prototype! Additionally, we are beginning fabrication for our mobile solar station on the first week back from break. Lastly, our solar team finalized the design for our Solar-Picnic project; learn more about our solar-powered picnic tables here!
FS-1 has also been hard at work finalizing the battery pack order and have successfully formed and cured our very first piece of Carbon Fiber, complete with a compound curve and everything!
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support Formula Slug in our mission to provide hands-on, sustainable engineering to talented students of UC Santa Cruz!

Hello everyone,
Formula Slug now enters it's second year and second crowdfunding campaign. We would like to thank you all for your continuing support.

For a $15 donation, you will receive a personalized thank you email from a team member detailing the current activities of our club and that specific team.
You will be invited to view our lab space and to come to one of our Friday meetings. The team would like to thank you for your donation. For $50, you are invited to attend our general meeting and have a tour of our lab space and see everything that your support has gone towards.

You will get one of our amazing sponsor shirts that have the Formula Slug logo on it. Once CrowdFunding ends we will email you about size and you will have one of our shirts to show off to all your friends and family.
You will get a signed photo of the team, business cards, stickers, information pamphlet, and every level below this perk.
Your signature or logo will be placed on the car's body paneling to be displayed at competition. Signing of the body panels has a later delivery date than other perks. This level includes all perks below.
You are invited to come to a testing day and take your photo with the team. The invitation for the testing day will go out sometime in May. This includes all perks below this level.
