Senior Legacy Fund

The Senior Legacy Fund is the only student-initiated, student-supported, and student-distributed scholarship at UC Santa Cruz.

Each year, seniors contribute to the fund and use the proceeds to award scholarships to students who represent the four tenets of S.L.U.G. life (Spirit, Legacy, Unity, and Giving). In 2012, the graduating class was able to award scholarships of $2,500 each to three returning students. The Class of 2013 started an endowment that will help fund student philanthropy programs for years to come. This year, the Class of 2016 awarded the funds raised by the Class of 2015 to four deserving juniors.

Now is the time for the Class of 2016 to pay it forward and raise money for our legacy. The money that we raise will be passed to the Class of 2017 who will choose how to distribute the funds. Our ultimate goal is to get 500 donations for our 2016 fund, for this crowdfunding project, our goal is to raise $2,016. Any gift matters, please join us, and leave a legacy.
